Today has gone really well i've spent about 5 hours photographing families who booked me via my portraits page on my website.
My day started off with the Walker family for 2 hours this family was huge 14 people to photograph in the group of which 7 were children so i really did have my work cut out.
Photographing children in a studio is fantastic as you can capture some amazing portraits of them however when they first arrive it can take a while for them to settle as when they see all the props and lights they can spend more time exploring rather than wanting to be photographed.
One of my trick is if they are very young children is to put the toys on the floor in the studio and as they play this gives me the chance to snap away.
